Training Resources

Looking for additional ways to continue your personal rider education journey? Rider training is a never-ending endeavor and there are several programs that complement the Stayin' Safe program. For your convenience, Stayin' Safe is assembling a list of available training programs that we think you may find helpful. Some of these are programs we've personally participated in (we're life-long students as well) and others have been recommended by our students. Have programs think others might benefit from? Let us know and we'll add them to the list found below.

We hope that other training programs will offer the same courtesy to their online visitors by posting resources such as ours on their websites. Together, we can help make more riders aware of the available training opportunities and raise the level of safety and riding enjoyment for everyone.

PARKING LOT-BASED PROGRAMS:

Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF)

ON-STREET PROGRAMS:

Stayin' Safe Advanced Rider Training

Coaching is provided in real time via radio as riders improve cornering skills, develop visual strategies, learn where to place the motorcycle at any given moment and other essential riding skills essential to survival -- and simply make on-street riding more fun. Stayin' Safe "training tours" are 1-to-3-day training "tours" that blend spectacular mountain riding, small-town traffic, and brief sections of highway riding for a well-rounded training experience.
